A course/module to help students manage their money better would be really beneficial. Some students leave home for the first time and have never been required to live to a tight budget and University can be there first experience of managing finances, for instance: paying rent, travel costs, food etc. I feel a course showing students the best ways to manage money, but still have fun would save a lot of students from been distracted from their studies due to financial hardship.

First better guidances and advice will improve our environment
Think this is fab, as someone who got themselves in debt at 18 I think its really important.
Thank you for your votes and comments. It is something some do not take seriously at 18 because our lack of knowledge and life experience. We do not see the consequences and the later impact. Maybe if we had a better understanding and guidance we could achieve a little more (Saved for a car or deposit to buy out first home) rather than battling with debts. Im sure we all would like to gain our degree and live comfortably when we achieve this and not just face 'red letters'. Please encourage your peers to vote in order for a comfortable adulthood, limited stress and a more positive outcome for individuals and society.
Great idea! I’d love to do a course like this 😊
I would love to know more and let others know how can we manage money better. As I have struggled to manage in the best way at times.
Good idea Jodie, definitely a lot of people struggle with money management and I support this
