It doesn’t matter if you have never picked up a bow or if you are a young Robin Hood; all are welcome at Hudds Archery.
We practice twice a week, during the indoor season we practice in the ActiveHud hall on Tuesdays 7pm-10pm and Sundays 1pm-4pm with socials after our Sundays sessions, during the outdoor season we practice at Valley Bowman of Huddersfield on Thursdays 3pm-6pm and Saturdays 3pm-6pm with socials after our Thursday shoot sessions.
We run a variety of shoots, including Portsmouths, WA18s, 252 Incentives during outdoor season and fun shoots all year round including Dartchery and some balloon-popping!
We compete in the NEUAL and BUCS competitions and run in-club friendlies (e.g., Head-2-Head in January) and with other clubs (e.g., UHAC vs Valley match).
If competitions aren't for you, you can still come along to shoots for a more relaxed atmosphere and shoot.
We are home to coaches who are always on hand to help you improve. We run regular coaching sessions, and 1-2-1 coaching can be organised at request.
