The Barbara Hepworth Building is specifically designed for ensuring student's have a place for artwork to be showcased and displayed. This new Art, Design and Architecture building allows for more student artwork to be displayed on-campus for other students/staff and visitors to see.
Noticed the generic IKEA bought prints and similar around campus? Does it not seem a little unnecessary when ADA exists?
The university casually displaying students art would benefit us all. Show the rest of the university the creativity happening in Barbra Hepworth Building. Giving the artists attention by having the name, title and maybe online website as a description. Breath some air into the hallways and sitting areas. Maybe rotate what artwork is being displayed where.
Be proud of the diverse art community the university has and spread it.
