I would like to propose we have more regular concerts in Phipps hall or Saint Paul's. We could promote the concerts in the weekly news letter and advertise them to all students. This would help create a more musical atmosphere within the university and inspire more people to start playing. It will also help students prepare for graded performance exams. I am unsure how regularly as this would depend on the amount of interest but I was thinking monthly. This idea could also be almost entirely student run as there are students with knowledge of how to use the sound system equiptment, this would also help out with any modules they might have reguarding this.
