45p a mile fuel claims for students travelling to placement

The SU Exec/Management are taking this idea to a University Senate meeting for feedback and input.
We will update once we have further information
At the moment, students travelling to placement can only claim 10p per mile, which means lots of people who have to travel are out of pocket, especially due to rising fuel prices. 45p per mile is the amount the majority of companies will pay in expenses, and therefore I don't think this is an unreasonable ask.
