This idea was passed at the Big Ideas Jury on 16 November 2020, and approved at the subsequent Exec meeting on 20 November 2020. The matter has been referred to Computing & Library Services. An update from the meeting: Following a brief discussion it was noted that the request would need to be raised with Corporate Information Systems. An action is on a staff in the Library to take this forward with Head of CIS for advice and will report back with update.

The Education Officer has spoken to Dominic from timetabling about this a while ago - he said that it can’t happen because it means students would be able to move when there lectures are (eg from 10am to 11am) and think the lecture has moved when it hasn’t - it would also just reset the day after so it would be a waste of time for students.
