Here at the SU (being hard working bunch that we are), we’re all about getting things done. As well as putting on epic events and playing host to our amazing sports clubs and societies, our main job is to to make student life better for each and every person at the University of Huddersfield.

To help us do this, we need to make changes. To make changes, we need ideas.

That’s where you come in.

All this week, we want to hear Your Big Ideas to help make the student experience in Huddersfield even better. Whether it’s to do with our facilities, the University itself or wider student issues – if it affects you, we want to know about it and make it happen.

To kick things off, we invited students to come up and grab some brekkie in exchange for an idea (croissant for your thoughts?), with our #YourBigIdeas stand open all week for you to jot down your suggestions. Throughout the week, our Exec officers will be out and about for you to chat to and share your ideas with, while making changes all over campus based on what’s already been submitted.

• Cheaper student entry prices in clubs around town
• Non-profit sanitary products in the SU shop
• Graphics tablets in the library
• Blood drive on campus
• Re-paving the Plaza (yes, it's happening)
