Your Big Ideas Delivered - Trophy Cabinet

A few months ago, student Tom Pugh made a suggestion in our Your Big Ideas module. Tom felt that there needed to be a space in the Students' Union specifically for recognising and displaying the achievements of our student teams, clubs, and societies - such as a trophy cabinet.

"Many people don't know that there are clubs around the University that are consistently winning trophies and cups, in competitions, championships and various events.This should be something that the Students Union shows off, allowing all clubs

the chance to showcase their achievements.

These awards should be visible as a selling point to potential students on open days, and also a reminder to existing student of the hard work they put in or could put in by joining some of our many competitive sports clubs." - Tom Pugh

Over 50 students signed his petition for an 'achievement space', and we have since delivered this great idea. The new trophy cabinet now stands proudly in our Students' Union space, displaying all our societies' achievements for everyone to see - and to give some inspiration to future clubs as to what they can achieve.
