It’s that time of the year again! The countdown has already begun to WELCOME FESTIVAL 2019!!

I find that every new academic year brings about an opportunity to try something new and get invested in all that the Students’ Union has to offer. This year at Welcome Festival 2019, the team have been working hard to deliver a host of events catered to everyone and we hope that you have the best experience ever!

Calling all lovers of coffee, join us on a unique kind of crawl – Coffee Crawl! Make memories while tasting the finest coffees from the very best coffee shops in Huddersfield (where else would you find any better-tasting brew?!). There is also an opportunity to win a coffee machine worth £125 – pretty cool huh?! Other events of with relaxed and more intimate nature, include Mature Cheddar – a classy evening of wine and cheese tasting and the ever famous Campus Tea Party.

No one gets left behind in our family-friendly events. Bring your young families and have some fun at Roller Disco, Laser Tag and have some fun while learning at the new for 2019 Mad Science show. There is definitely something for everyone.
