HudBooks has opened its doors to a whole range of products allowing students to trade almost anything on the platform.

The student trading website, HudBooks, has added new categories to the site so that students have the ability to trade anything from second-hand games consoles to clothing.

Vice President Wellbeing & Equalities, Alysia Ford, said: “I’m delighted to extend the range of services on offer with the HudBooks platform and this shows a real desire from the Students’ Union to save students’ money in line with feedback from our Rate Your Union survey.

“One of my major campaign points this year is having a positive impact on students’ finances and this is a brilliant example of a Students’ Union service that can really make a difference in this area.”

By using HudBooks students can be safe in the knowledge that they’ll never be charged any administration fees – unlike some mainstream trading sites.

While the main aim of HudBooks is creating a text book trading ecosystem that impacts positively on students’ finances it has also been decided that this can be expanded to encourage a greater community of trading at the University.
