Did you know the average student’s annual spend on books and other course materials is a staggering £1070.00? We can't believe it either!

Don’t fear though, whether you’re just about to embark on your Uni journey or you’ve finished your last set of modules, Students' Union Book Sale is the perfect place for you to buy and sell second hand text books.

It gives you the opportunity to buy cheap books for your course, and also make some money from the old ones sitting on your shelves collecting dust. Win, win!

Students' Union Books Sale will take place in the Students’ Union during Find your Feet Week, on Wednesday 30^th September from 10.00 – 15.30.

To sell your old books, make sure you drop them off at the SU from today until Monday 28 September at 16.00.

All you need to do is fill in a sellers form - come and grab one from the SU helpdesk, bring it along with your student card and let us know how much you want to sell the books for. It's as easy as that! Make sure to join our event on Facebook for more updates and to chat to other buyers/sellers too.

You'll receive your hard-earned money (minus 10% commission to cover SU admin costs) and any of your unsold books back the following week from Wednesday 7 October, where you're free to spend it (or save it) on whatever you want - shiny new shoes, a late night kebab, or even just more books!  What could be better?

Any money or books left uncollected will be retained for a short period of time and then distributed to local charities.
