Freshers’ is always a great way to kick off the start of term and get everyone ready for the academic year. It’s also super helpful to have something to blow away the cobwebs that build up after a long time away from uni during the Christmas holidays, so get ready for ReFreshers’ Week! 🎉

If you missed Freshers’ Fair and didn’t get the chance to meet any of our great sports clubs and societies, now’s the perfect chance… The ReFreshers’ Fair on Monday 16th January will be host to stalls from societies, clubs and other organisations – you’ll be able to meet loads of people, find out about all the great activities you can get involved with and bag a tonne of free stuff while you’re at it! 

Looking to kick-start the year in style? Or just want an excuse for a big night out? Whatever the reason, HudCrawl is sure to impress! With 4 bars and 2 of the best Huddersfield clubs in attendance it's going to be a bigger than ever! This year’s theme is Zoo Project, with Teams Zebra, Tiger and Giraffe, so come along on Monday 16^th January for what’s sure to be a wild night! 



If you’re looking for some comic relief be sure to check out HudMovies, where we’ll be watching the recent hit Sausage Party and Will Ferrell’s classic comedy Stepbrothers on the Tuesday 17^th January – we'll be giving away free popcorn, drinks and snacks with every purchase for the full cinema experience.

Don’t be late for this very important date – join us at Student Central on the Wednesday 18th January for the Mad Hatter's Tea Party for some hot drinks, cake and a competition to crown the King/Queen of Hearts.

Come and test your FIFA 17 skills at our tournament on Thursday 19th January for a chance to win some fantastic footie-related prizes and see if you have what it takes to be crowned the FIFA champion.

And we can’t forget about HudLive, where we’ll be welcoming the New Year with a bang on the Friday 20th Janaury, featuring some of the hottest raw UK talent mixed with some home-grown music from students! We’ll be revealing the line-up soon, so stay tuned for more information…

For all the footie fans you can pick up some £1 tickets for the Huddersfield Town vs Ipswich match, so make sure you grab your ticket for Saturday 21^st January and show your support for Huddersfield!
