As one of your elected Students' Union Officers, I believe that every student deserves a great education for their tuition fees and to be able to get the most out of their university experience. I'm looking forward to supporting you towards these aims this year in any way I can.

This year I will be focusing on three main areas;

  1. Recognising the student voice and enhancing it
  2. Improving student education through working with Student Support services
  3. Supporting and enhancing student life and focusing on student welfare

As an elected Officer I am here to be your voice, that’s why I want us to work together to make all of campus better. I will be campaigning on issues and concerns that you feel strongly about at the same time putting your ideas forward, including campaigning for equal opportunities. Remember I’m always here to support and help you to enjoy your time at Huddersfield University.

I will be working tirelessly to enforce Learning Support Plans for all students with emphases on students with disabilities and those who identify as BAME. Working alongside University services such as; Student Support, Disability and Wellbeing and as well as the Students’ Union Advice Centre, I want to make sure that all students needs have proper support in place and that schools are also offering help.

My aim is to direct the Students’ Union’s strategy and activities in making the Union and University more representative of International, Mature and Postgraduate/Research students.

For a more detailed look at my objectives visit my Officer Page where you will find more information.

I’m here for all students so just stop me anytime for a chat, or come and speak to me in the Students’ Union, Floor 5, Student Central.
