Hey guys,
Christmas is nearly here, and with it comes the the dreaded hand in dates, exams and external pressures. So, we thought that you could do with a little pick me up and a day to promote your health.
On Tuesday 22nd November we’ll be hosting an event at Student Central dedicated to student health with some really amazing things for you to try out; from the Pet Therapy Room, to hand massages, free Berroca, tea, coffee, and cake! We’ve got awareness stalls with charities like The Base, Meningitis Now, Wellbeing and Disability Services, and the Students’ Union Advice Centre so you can talk about any issues - from alcohol to exam stress.
Puppy Room Returns for Take Care Tuesday!
We’re also lucky enough for the University Health Centre to be here to give out top tips regarding sexual health, so there really is someone to support you no matter what the issue is.
When you’re busy with university or just general life stuff, it can be easy to forget the importance of relaxing and recharging your batteries. Nothing is more important to the SU than student wellbeing, and this day is all about students! So if you’re feeling down, stressed out or just want someone to chat to, come on up to the SU for some much needed TLC.
See you there,
Lianne
