Housing Admin Fees: You Said, We Did

You said you wanted us to do more work on student housing? So here's a little update on some of the wins we've already had this term!.

Our HudLets accommodation office officially opened in September, gearing up for the housing rush that starts in January. This year we'll be hosting our Housing Fair on the Friday of Refreshers' Week (25 January), where for the first time we'll also be releasing the HudLets Housing List - full of properties perfect for students. Don't start looking for accommodation until then - see Alysia's recent blog for some other good reasons.

In the meantime, we've also had a number of good wins on the removal of admin fees that students have traditionally been charged. So far, Northpoint Living (normally £125 for new students), Kirkgate Residence (normally £150) and Broomfield House (normally £150 for new students) have all agreed to get rid of them for students who book through HudLets - putting more money back into your pocket!
