Helping The Welcome Centre

Every year we as a Huddersfield Students’ Union Community come together and continue to support charity of the year ‘The Welcome Centre. Foodbank and more’. This year like many other events we have gone online. We have made 3 simple steps for you to donate.

Donation box located on Student Central:

There is a box located on Floor 5 Student Central outside the reception desk where you can bring your donations. Please bear in mind that we do not accept any fresh produce due to the lack of storge. Here is the link of the shortages The Welcome Centre needs.

Buy a care package on the SU shop website:

If you don’t feel comfortable coming onto campus or you want to see what your money buys then you can check out either a ‘Christmas pack’ or an ‘essential pack’.

If you wish to donate outside of the Students Union below are the locations where you can donate food around Huddersfield.
