Not only are bananas full of potassium, but they come in their own little containers, so they’re the perfect companion to take to the library. And if you accidentally forget about them… you’ve an excuse to bake banana bread. Need we say more?
If you need something with a little more variety, berries are a great way to go. They’re a great way to switch up your snack game, as you could get a different kind each week to stop it from getting repetitive. If you’re the kind of person who forgets there’s fruit in the fridge, you can freeze them and put them in a smoothie instead!
Nuts are high in healthy fats, protein and fibre, and have been proven to help boost your brain. Researchers claim that walnuts are the way to go, but all nuts will give you the kick you need.

To make kale chips, all you need to do is spread a thin layer of kale on a baking sheet, drizzle with a little oil and bake until crispy. Don’t forget to season! They are incredibly moreish and a great way to sneak more greens into your diet.
You can toast chickpeas in a frying pan or in the oven, the key is just to cook them until they’ve dried out and have that lovely crunch! Then you can season them however you like, a popular seasoning is paprika.
