The Freshers’ Festival lineup announcement is nearly upon us – are you excited?

But, with September creeping ever closer, it’s come to our attention that certain groups, events, and pages are using Freshers’ as an opportunity to further their own gains. Some of these events aren’t even taking place in Huddersfield, so be warned.

Here in the Students’ Union, we’re dedicated to making sure you have the best possible experience when you finally join us at Uni, so this year we’re throwing the biggest Freshers’ Festival we’ve ever thrown!

Make sure to hold off on buying any tickets until 13 August, when we’ll be announcing the amazing acts coming to perform for you in September. We can hardly wait!

What’s even better is the fact that you could easily WIN two free Freshers’ Full Passes with minimal effort involved. Sign up to our Thunderclap before 3pm on 12 August and you’ll automatically be entered into our prize draw, with winners being announced in the morning on 13 August – just in time for tickets to go on sale!

So stay vigilant, and make sure to keep an eye out for the official Students’ Union logo on events and pages – we’re the only official University-approved Freshers’ event providers, and are guaranteed to put on the best Festival in town.
