After two confident wins the Men's Handball team currently sit in pole position in the Northern Men's Regional Development League.
Their excellent start to the season began with a comprehensive 32-17 victory against Manchester before they followed that up with a 22-14 victory against the University of Leeds.
This blistering start to the league season was supplemented with a friendly draw against Leeds Hornets who currently compete in the Super 8 League - the highest national league in England.
Handball is one of the fastest growing sports in England and having such a successful club in Huddersfield is down to the hard work they have put into recruitment this season. Their next aim is to recruit more women into the club in order to establish a women's team that can compete at league level.
They have already seen boosts in numbers with more women joining the club and attending Get Active Sessions which bodes well for the future.
