Potato bauble design

You will need:

• Potatoes
• Knife (for adults)
• Paint
• Paintbrush
• Sparkly pipe cleaners
• Glue

Method

1. Start by cutting your potatoes in half and carving out designs/lines in it. Take a paintbrush and paint on Christmas colours.

2. Stamp it on a white piece of paper and sprinkle with glitter.

3. Take a black marker and draw a small rectangle on top of each ornament shape. Cut short pieces of pipe cleaner and twist it at the bottom to make it look like the string for the ornaments.

Reindeer fingerprint design

You will need:

• Paper/ card of your choice
• Felt tip pens in black and red
• Brown paint
• Method

1. Using a paintbrush, apply a small coat of brown paint to your finger

2. Then apply the finger to the card. Continue until you have the number of reindeer heads on your card that you want and allow the paint to dry before moving on to the next step.

3. Using a red pen, apply a “nose” to each reindeer use a black pen to add the antler and eyes

4. Finally, write your message on the card!
