Christian Union (CU) showed their diverse range of skills with a packed week of events aimed at sharing stories about how being a Christian has helped to change members’ lives.

Events throughout the week included a quiz and acoustic night, football match, beauty and baking evening, discussion dinners and an end of week black tie ball.

CU President, Esther Parkinson, said: “It was great to see both old and new faces at the events and they were all well attended by both CU and non-CU members.

She continuted: “We wanted to make an events week with an array of events in order to cater for everyone!

“We also wanted people to have a good time, make new friends, but most importantly to give people an opportunity to hear more about the Christian faith.”

The events success was in large part down to the organisation, planning and commitment of the Christian Union committee. The willingness of volunteers from the society to get involved and invite their friends to events also contributed to the success.
