Last week the Union held our Autumn Term Elections. Up for grabs were a number of positions on our Union Council, as well as 5 places to go to NUS National Conference representing Huddersfield students on a national stage.

We had 23 students running across the 8 positions we had available, including a massive 13 candidates running to be one of your representatives at NUS Conference.

Our new Union Council members attended their first meeting representing students at Union Council on Monday 19^th October. Our successful NUS Delegates will join our SU President Mike McGougan at NUS National Conference in Brighton in April 2016 to decide national policy and elect the new NUS President.
